Martha è una scrittrice che ha qualche problema con la bottiglia. Quando però le rapiscono il figlioletto, reagisce ed è lei stessa a darsi da fare per rintracciarlo, non esitando a battere tutte le piste possibili e immaginabili e dedicandosi freneticamente alla ricerca. Purtroppo le sue indagini la portano a Lawrence, un pedofilo che potrebbe aver adescato il ragazzino per conto di un regista di filmini porno in cui vengono utilizzati dei minori. Arriva per lei allora il momento di non arrendersi e andare fino in fondo, per poter riportare a casa sano e salvo il figlio.
