La morte viene da Scotland Yard (1946)
Viene uccisa una donna. L'ispettore Borgman arresta subito il presunto colpevole che viene processato, condannato e giustiziato. Un prete porta le prove dell'innocenza dell'uomo giustiziato. Borgman è sospeso e sostituito. Viene ucciso un giovane parente dell'assassinata. Il suo sostituto è sicuro di aver trovato l'assassino, ma Borgman dice che c'è un errore. Sorpresa finale.
