Number 23 (2007)
La vita ordinaria di Walter Sparrow, modesto accalappiacani, è scossa da un libro regalatogli per il compleanno dalla moglie. Intitolato "Il numero 23", il romanzo diventa un'ossessione per l'uomo, che trova una serie di connessioni, tutte nel segno del famigerato numero, tra se stesso e il detective Fingerling, protagonista del libro. Le cose si faranno complicate per Walter quando, del tutto persuaso che il racconto parli di lui, comincerà a farsi condizionare dal narrato al punto da mettere in pericolo la propria vita e quella dei propri cari.
