Niente da dire sul detective O'Brien: è un duro che conosce bene il suo mestiere. Anche se non è più lo stesso dalla volta in cui riuscì a mettere in galera Simon Moon, uno psicopatico pluriomicida, detto anche "il Terrore". Da quel giorno O'Brien soffre di incubi e non riesce più a dormire come un tempo e, ora che Simon è scappato dal manicomio criminale, rischia di non dormire più del tutto.
