La nostra vita insieme (2016)
L'adolescente Ruthie e la madre Rita vivono sull'orlo della povertà. Sbattute fuori di casa, decidono di trasferirsi verso est con la speranza di una vita migliore. Senza soldi a disposizione, finiscono in una piccola cittadina dove le cose iniziano a girare per il meglio. Non tutto però va come dovrebbe: non appena Rita compra un'abitazione tutta per loro grazie a un prestito, la fortuna gira le spalle alle due donne. Di fronte alla prospettiva di rimanere nuovamente senza un tetto sotto cui vivere, Rita finirà per pagare un prezzo troppo alto che cambierà le loro esistenze per sempre.
