Please Give (2010)
Kate compra oggetti vintage dalle famiglie di persone morte e le rivende nel suo negozio per appartenenti all'upper class in Manhattan, esercizio che gestisce con il marito Alex. I due hanno una figlia adolescente alla quale la madre vieta l'acquisto di abiti costosi. Perché Kate è fatta così: apprezza le cose di valore ma prova un forte senso di colpa nei confronti dei senzatetto che incontra sul suo cammino. La famiglia ha come vicina di casa una donna anziana e piuttosto irascibile ed è così facile fare conoscenza con le due nipoti che se ne occupano. Una, Rachel, lavora presso uno studio medico specializzato in mammografie mentre l'altra, Mary, è impiegata in un centro di estetica. Per nessuno di loro la vita è facile.
