Gorgo (1961)
Nel mare d'Irlanda il battello "Triton" cattura un mostro marino, risvegliato da un terremoto con epicentro in mare aperto. L'animale, ribattezzato con il nome "Gorgo", viene trasportato a Londra ed esposto alla curiosità della gente in un circo. Gorgo, per quanto enorme, è, in realtà, soltanto un "cuccioletto": ben presto sua madre, di dimensioni gigantesche, corre a cercarlo e lungo il cammino distrugge tutto quello che incontra.
