Absolute Beginners (1986)
Siamo a Londra verso la fine degli anni '50. Colin, apprendista fotografo e Suzette, disegnatrice di moda si amano, ma lei finisce per sposare Henley, il grande sarto di Mayfair, con grande disperazione del ragazzo. Colin continua la sua vita, tra fermenti che già annunciano i "favolosi" anni '60 e scontri razziali, nel corso dei quali, da buon democratico, si schiera con le minoranze. E dopo la tempesta ritroverà anche la sua Suzette.
