Il rifugio dei dannati (1963)
Tre giovani, Eleanor, Simon e Tony, hanno perso i genitori. Dalla disperazione Tony si suicida ed Eleanor farebbe altrettanto se un giovanotto non la salvasse. Quest'ultimo asserisce di essere Tony, fuggito di casa facendo credere alla propria morte, ma in realtà è un impostore in combutta col curatore dell'eredità.
