Riccardo III (1955)
Laurence Olivier attore e regista si prende il gusto di rifare da par suo il gobbo Riccardo di Gloucester, divenuto re d'Inghilterra attraverso una serie forse ineguagliata di ammazzamenti di consanguinei. Dopo aver fatto uccidere i fratelli e i loro eredi, Riccardo viene affrontato dal giovane conte di Richmond e sconfitto in battaglia: non gli serve lanciare a combattimento quasi concluso il fatidico grido: "Un cavallo, un cavallo per il mio regno".
