Tu sei il mio destino (1954)
Nella cittadina di Strafford nel Connecticut vive la famiglia Tutle: il padre Gregory e sua sorella, la zia Jenny, e le tre figlie, Fran, Amy e Laurie. L'arrivo di Alex, un compositore dotato di molto talento e di altrettanto fascino, porta lo scompiglio in casa: tutte e tre le ragazze si innamorano di lui. Laurie, la prescelta, il giorno delle nozze abbandona però Alex per Barney che aveva conosciuto nel frattempo. Barney, geloso di Alex, tenta il suicidio ma viene salvato in tempo.
