I cacciatori (1958)
Durante la guerra di Corea, il maggiore Clive Saville (già eroe nel secondo conflitto mondiale) comanda la squadriglia aerea di cui fa parte anche il tenente Abbott, un uomo fragile, dedito all'alcol. La moglie di quest'ultimo si raccomanda quindi a Saville perché sorvegli il marito. Ma tra il maggiore e la donna si fa largo un sentimento d'amore impossibile da realizzare. Così, quando l'aereo di Abbot si perde nella foresta, è lo stesso Saville ad andarlo a salvare.
