L'affittacamere (1962)
A Londra, un giovane diplomatico americano affitta un appartamento dalla signora Hardwicke, che la polizia sospetta abbia ucciso e fatto sparire il marito, e se ne innamora. Il marito, un farabutto, torna invece a casa e rimane accidentalmente ucciso durante una collutazione con la donna.
