Parlando e sparlando (1996)
Amelia e Laura sono amiche d’infanzia inseparabili che si trovano ad affrontare un momento critico della loro relazione quando Laura annuncia il suo matrimonio. Mentre quest’ultima è assorbita dai preparativi e dalle ansie della futura vita coniugale, Amelia naviga goffamente nel mondo degli appuntamenti, lottando con la solitudine, un ex fidanzato ingombrante e una carriera precaria. Le diverse traiettorie esistenziali creano una frattura emotiva tra le due donne, costringendole a mettere in discussione le dinamiche del loro legame storico e a confrontarsi con la paura dell’abbandono e del cambiamento.
