I giovani arrabbiati (1959)
Tratto dal dramma di John Osborne Ricorda con rabbia, il film è centrato sulla figura di Jimmy, venditore di noccioline che rifiuta con acredine di integrarsi nella società che lo circonda. La giovane moglie, innamoratissima di lui, ha la colpa di appartenere ad un ambiente socialmente elevato e per questo Jimmy nutre nei suoi confronti un sentimento contraddittorio di amore e odio. Lei se ne va, ma dopo qualche mese ritorna e il loro rapporto continua, anche se entrambi continuano a sentirsi due disadattati.
