Mr. Beaver (2011)
Walter Black, presidente di una azienda di giocattoli sull'orlo del fallimento, soffre di una grave forma di depressione. Quando la moglie lo caccia di casa, trova la marionetta di un castoro ('Beaver', appunto) e inizia ad animarla. Attraverso questo pupazzo da ventriloquo, che non smette quasi mai facendone una sorta di interfaccia tra sé ed il mondo, Walter diventa simpaticissimo e riesce a riconciliarsi con moglie e figlio piccolo, portando anche l'azienda al successo. Presto, però, questo 'avatar' diventa troppo ingombrante e persino pericoloso...
