Sono passati anni da quando Tyler e Corey si vedevano. Da allora molte cose sono cambiate nelle loro vite ma il destino fa sì che le loro strade si incontrino per motivi diversi nella natia Red Rock, dove ogni anno si tiene una gara di barbecue.
