Trevor, insegnante delle scuole medie superiori in quel di Broolkyn, crede ancora nel valore della sua professione. Ma deve ricredersi quando rischia di rimanere ucciso all'interno della scuola, trasformata in un campo di battaglia, dove insegna. Anche perché esistono due schieramenti: una minoranza che dimostra di aver voglia di studiare e la maggioranza che è ostile al mondo che li circonda.
