The Day After - Il giorno dopo (1983)

Drammatico racconto dei devastanti effetti di un olocausto nucleare: i fatti sono introdotti da una serie di notiziari televisivi e radiofonici che, per tutta la durata del film, dipingono lo scenario bellico nel suo svolgersi. Successivamente vengono seguite più da vicino le vicende degli abitanti della città di Lawrence (Kansas) dove cadono tre dei trecento missili con testata nucleare lanciati dai Sovietici sugli USA.
