Lonesome Jim (2005)
Jim torna malvolentieri nella sua città natale, nell'Indiana rurale, dopo aver fallito nel tentativo di farsi una nuova vita a New York. Una volta a casa ricorda molto presto il motivo della sua partenza: una madre autoritaria, un padre distante e un fratello maggiore depresso. Poco dopo il suo arrivo il fratello ha un misterioso incidente automobilistico e Jim è obbligato a sostituirlo nelle sue mansioni, lavorare nella fabbrica di famiglia e aiutare le sue nipoti. Sommerso degli impegni Jim conduce un'esistenza monotona fino a quando non intreccia una relazione con un'infermiera e col suo bambino.
