Siamo durante la Guerra dei Cent'anni (XIV secolo). Una bella nobildonna inglese è tenuta in ostaggio a forza da un signorotto francese dell'Aquitania. Arriva nel suo castello il principe di Galles, travestito da soldato di ventura. Dopo una serie di rocambolesche avventure il malvagio viene sconfitto e la dama può tornale in Inghilterra.
