The Quiet American (2002)
Un giovane cooperante americano Alden Pyle arriva a Saigon nell'autunno del 1952, al culmine della lotta per l'indipendenza dalla Francia. Il giovane Pyle è un idealista e finisce per far amicizia con il corrispondente del Times di Londra, Thomas Fowler e per innamorarsi della sua giovane amante vietnamita, Phuong.
