Il protagonista di questa storia è un attore comico dell'epoca del muto. In sua compagnia riviviamo i magici momenti in cui i primi cineasti cercavano di coinvolgere emotivamente gli spettatori facendoli piangere e ridere e, allo stesso tempo, cercavano e creavano un linguaggio nuovo.
