Giglio infranto (1919)
Chen, maestro spirituale e pacifico divulgatore della dottrina buddista si reca in Inghilterra per diffondere i suoi insegnamenti. Nel corso della sua permanenza londinese incontra Lucy, una ragazza per la quale prova una sincera attrazione, che ha la sfortuna di venire tormentata e maltrattata dal padre, un famoso pugile. E quando Chen interviene durante una delle sfuriate dell'uomo, sottraendo Lucy alle sue percosse, si trova costretto a dover affrontare il desiderio di vendetta del pugile.
