Seedpeople: Alla Radice del Male (1992)
Doc Roller, un biologo assai poco prudente, rinviene nei frammenti di una meteora, caduta 5 secoli or sono a Comet Valley, misteriose spore di origine extraterrestre che per crescere e moltiplicarsi non hanno bisogno di terreno fertile ma di organismi umani. Un suo esperimento avventato ha la tragica conseguenza di far moltiplicare la mostruosa creatura nei corpi di un buon numero degli abitanti del luogo che ben presto si popola, così, di sanguinari zombi: per fortuna, il fenomeno è ancora circoscritto al piccolo centro cittadino a causa del provvidenziale crollo di un ponte che costituisce l'unica via di comunicazione con il resto del paese, ma per evitare che il contagio dilaghi nel mondo, scatenando una vera e propria invasione, occorre agire al più presto.
