Detroit Rock City (1999)
Cleveland, Ohio, 1978. Quattro ragazzi (Edward Furlong, Giuseppe Andrews, Sam Huntington, James De Bello) che compongono il gruppo musicale dei Mystery, sognano di diventare il gruppo spalla dei Kiss, band satanica per eccellenza. In occasione del concerto dei loro idoli, essi si procurano quattro biglietti ma la madre di Jam (Sam Huntington), cattolica praticante, si infuria e li brucia. Da questo momento in poi comincia una spasmodica caccia al biglietto che vede impegnati i quattro ragazzi per un' intera nottata. Non mancano disavventure, crisi di coscienza e ostacoli di vario genere che movimentano la trama del film. Oltre ai già citati protagonisti, il cast della commedia annovera i componenti della band dei Kiss che interpretano se stessi (Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, Ace Frehley, Paul Stanley).
