Biografia:

Virginia Mayo (30 novembre 1920 – 17 gennaio 2005) è stata un'attrice cinematografica statunitense. Dopo una breve carriera nel vaudeville, Mayo passò al cinema e negli anni '40 si affermò come attrice non protagonista in film come I migliori anni della nostra vita (1946) e Il grande sonno (1949). Lavorò intensamente negli anni '50, ma in seguito le sue apparizioni furono meno frequenti. Continuò a lavorare occasionalmente fino alla sua ultima interpretazione nel 1997.
