L'amante del gangster (1949)
Colby è un avvocato assai capace, ma non del tutto adamantino. Infatti per salvare un gangster si serve di un testimone fasullo. La sua fidanzata, è ancora meno adamantina di lui: è l'amante del gangster. Per salvarla da un'accusa di omicidio Colby si autoaccusa e finisce in carcere, dove scopre la verità. Evade e uccide il suo ex cliente.
