Jena Laine Malone (nata il 21 novembre 1984 a Sparks, Nevada) è un'attrice e produttrice statunitense. Inizia la sua carriera da bambina, ottenendo attenzione già con il film televisivo Bastard Out of Carolina (1996), per il quale riceve il Young Artist Award e candidature agli Independent Spirit Awards e agli Screen Actors Guild Awards. Nel 1997 interpreta la versione giovane della protagonista di Jodie Foster nel film di fantascienza Contact, diretto da Robert Zemeckis, ottenendo un Saturn Award. L'anno successivo recita accanto a Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon ed Ed Harris nel dramma Nemiche amiche. All'inizio degli anni 2000 si afferma nel cinema indipendente grazie a film come Donnie Darko (2001), diventato un cult, L'ultimo sogno (2001) e Saved! (2004). Nel 2005 interpreta Lydia Bennet in Orgoglio e pregiudizio, mentre nel 2007 recita in Into the Wild - Nelle terre selvagge. Nel 2006 debutta inoltre a Broadway nella produzione teatrale di Doubt. Nel 2011 entra nel cinema d'azione con Sucker Punch di Zack Snyder. Dal 2013 al 2015 interpreta Johanna Mason nella saga di Hunger Games, ruolo che contribuisce a renderla conosciuta al grande pubblico. Successivamente prende parte a film come The Neon Demon (2016), Vizio di forma, Animali notturni, Antebellum e Rebel Moon. Tra i suoi lavori più recenti figurano Love Lies Bleeding (2024) e Horizon: An American Saga - Capitolo 1 (2024). Nel 2026 è inoltre presente nella serie televisiva The Boroughs, confermando una carriera caratterizzata dall'alternanza tra cinema indipendente, produzioni mainstream e televisione.
