Joshua Ryan Hutcherson (nato il 12 ottobre 1992 a Union, nel Kentucky) è un attore e produttore statunitense, noto soprattutto per aver interpretato Peeta Mellark nella saga cinematografica di Hunger Games. Hutcherson inizia a recitare da bambino e ottiene i primi ruoli nei primi anni Duemila, apparendo in film come Miracle Dogs (2003), American Splendor (2003) e Zathura - Un'avventura spaziale (2005). Raggiunge una maggiore notorietà grazie a pellicole rivolte al pubblico giovane come Un ponte per Terabithia (2007), Viaggio al centro della Terra (2008) e Il gioco dei sogni (2006). La consacrazione internazionale arriva nel 2012 con Hunger Games, nel quale interpreta Peeta Mellark, il compagno e interesse sentimentale di Katniss Everdeen. Riprende il ruolo in Hunger Games: La ragazza di fuoco (2013), Hunger Games: Il canto della rivolta - Parte 1 (2014) e Hunger Games: Il canto della rivolta - Parte 2 (2015), diventando uno dei volti più riconoscibili della saga. Parallelamente prende parte a film come I ragazzi stanno bene (2010), candidato a numerosi riconoscimenti, The Forger (2011), Red Dawn - Alba rossa (2012), Journey 2 - L'isola misteriosa (2012), Escobar (2017) e Burn (2019). Dal 2015 al 2017 è inoltre protagonista della serie televisiva Future Man. Negli anni successivi continua a lavorare tra cinema e televisione, ottenendo una nuova popolarità grazie al ruolo di Mike Schmidt nell'adattamento cinematografico Five Nights at Freddy's (2023), basato sull'omonima serie di videogiochi. Riprende il personaggio nel sequel Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (2025).
