Robert Hammond Patrick (nato il 5 novembre 1958) è un attore americano. È noto per interpretare villain e figure autoritarie, in particolare nel suo ruolo di svolta nel ruolo del metallo liquido e mutaforma T-1000 nel blockbuster di James Cameron Terminator 2: Il giorno del giudizio (1991). Patrick nacque a Marietta, Georgia, il maggiore di cinque figli. È cresciuto lì e a Boston, Dayton, Detroit e Cleveland. Ha frequentato la Bowling Green State University in Ohio, ma ha abbandonato dopo aver seguito un corso di recitazione e si è interessato alla recitazione. Dopo aver lasciato l'università, ha trovato lavoro come imbibriere e ha continuato a lavorare fino a un incidente in barca nel Lago Erie nel 1984. Dopo aver recitato in Terminator 2: Il giorno del giudizio (1991), ha ottenuto ruoli in vari film come Last Action Hero (1993), Fire in the Sky (1993) e Striptease (1996). La sua interpretazione in Fire in the Sky attirò l'attenzione di Chris Carter, creatore della serie televisiva The X-Files (1993).
