Michael Andrew Fox OC (nato il 9 giugno 1961), conosciuto professionalmente come Michael J. Fox, è un attore canadese-americano in pensione. Ha iniziato la sua carriera negli anni '70, ed è salito alla ribalta interpretando Alex P. Keaton nella sitcom della NBC Family Ties (1982-1989). Fox è famoso per il suo ruolo di protagonista Marty McFly nella trilogia cinematografica di Ritorno al futuro (1985-1990), un successo di critica e commerciale. Ha continuato a dirigere diversi film negli anni '80 e '90, tra cui Teen Wolf (1985), The Secret of My Success (1987), Casualties of War (1989), Doc Hollywood (1991) e The Frighteners (1996). Fox è tornato in televisione nella sitcom della ABC Spin City nel ruolo principale di Mike Flaherty dal 1996 al 2000. Nel 1998, Fox ha rivelato la sua diagnosi del 1991 del morbo di Parkinson.
