Dame Judith Olivia "Judi" Dench, CH, DBE, FRSA (nata il 9 dicembre 1934) è un'attrice cinematografica, teatrale e televisiva inglese. Dench ha fatto il suo debutto professionale nel 1957 con la Old Vic Company. Negli anni successivi ha recitato in diverse opere di William Shakespeare in ruoli come Ofelia in Amleto, Giulietta in Romeo e Giulietta e Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. È passata al cinema e ha vinto un BAFTA Award come esordiente più promettente; tuttavia, la maggior parte del suo lavoro durante questo periodo era in teatro.
