Amy Adams (nata il 20 agosto 1974) è un'attrice statunitense, considerata una delle interpreti più talentuose e rispettate del cinema contemporaneo. Nata in Italia e cresciuta negli Stati Uniti, ha iniziato la sua carriera nel teatro musicale prima di affermarsi sul grande schermo grazie alla sua versatilità e alla capacità di interpretare personaggi profondamente diversi tra loro. Ha ottenuto il successo internazionale con il film Come d'incanto, nel quale interpreta la principessa Giselle, ruolo che le ha dato grande popolarità. Successivamente ha recitato in numerose pellicole acclamate dalla critica, tra cui Il dubbio, The Fighter, The Master, Lei, American Hustle, Big Eyes, Animali notturni, Arrival, Vice - L'uomo nell'ombra, Una donna promettente e Disenchanted. Nel corso della sua carriera ha ricevuto numerosi premi e candidature, tra cui sei candidature al Premio Oscar e due Golden Globe vinti.
