Heaven (2002)
Turijn. Vier onschuldige mensen komen om het leven bij een bomaanslag. De Engelse lerares Philippa (Blanchett) wordt gearresteerd en bekent. Haar doelwit was een drugdealer die haar echtgenoot heeft vermoord en veel van haar leerlingen verslaafd heeft gemaakt. Wanneer ze hoort dat er onschuldige slachtoffers zijn knapt er iets in haar. De politie probeert haar te laten bekennen dat ze een terrorist is met politieke motieven. Hulp komt uit onverwachte hoek: de jonge agent Filippo (Ribisi) wordt verliefd op Philippa. Hij komt met een plan dat haar d'r vrijheid teruggeeft, zelfs als het hem zijn carrière kost. Of erger.
