Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959)
Edinburgh, 1880. Professor Oliver Lindenbrook doceert geologie aan de universiteit. Op een dag krijgt hij van een van zijn studenten een brok lava. Omdat de steen te zwaar weegt, besluit Lindenbrook hem te smelten.
