River of No Return (1954)
Matt Calder, een ruwe bolster met een wild verleden, wil een toekomst opbouwen en start een nieuw leven als boer. Alles gaat goed tot ze een dubieus stel ontmoeten, de gokker Harry Weston en de mooie saloonsinger Kay. Bedrogen en beroofd door Weston, besluit Matt de achtervolging in te zetten en wraak te nemen. Onbewapend en als vervoermiddel een vlot waarmee ze de rivier afzakken, maken Matt, Mark en Kay, verlaten door Weston, jacht op de bedrieger.
