Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani Story (2003)
Als op 11 september het noodlot toeslaat in New York, moet Rudolph Giuliani, de door James Woods gespeelde controversiële vertrekkende burgemeester, de stad bij elkaar zien te houden. Hoewel zijn positie verzwakt is door privé-schandalen, politieke controverses en een strijd tegen kanker, groeit hij door de gebeurtenissen van 11 september uit tot een rots in de branding in een stuurloze wereld. Rudy is de eerste speelfilm over de gebeurtenissen van 11 september. Centraal staat het leven van een zwaar op de proef gesteld leider die met grote moed zijn stad door een inktzwarte periode heen helpt. De voor een Emmy Award genomineerde James Woods speelt een man die zo idealistisch en zo machtsbelust is, dat hij geen enkele tegenstand duldt, niet van zijn ondergeschikten, niet van zijn politieke tegenstanders, zelfs niet van zijn vrouw.
