Houseboat (1958)
Tom Winston, een weduwnaar, probeert zijn drie vroegwijze kinderen op te voeden en te begrijpen. Hij krijgt onverwachts hulp van Cinzia, wanneer zijn kinderen besluiten dat zij hun nieuwe hulp is. Eigenlijk is zij een Italiaanse behorend tot de hogere kringen, proberend om onder de vleugels van haar overbezorgde vader weg te komen.
