The Castle (1997)
Darryl Kerrigan, een vrachtwagenchauffeur, heeft twee grote passies: zijn gezin en zijn huis. Darryl houdt zielsveel van zijn vrouw en vier kinderen. Daarnaast is hij dol op zijn huis, in zijn ogen de droom van elke Australisch gezin. Darryl noemt het liefdevol zijn 'Castle', ook al staat het half op instorten, op zwaar verontreinigde grond en vlak naast het vliegveld. Darryl en zijn familie willen daar lang en gelukkig leven, maar dan dreigt de regering het huis van de Kerrigans te onteigenen vanwege uitbreidingen van het vliegveld.
