The Gift of Love (1978)
Beth Atherton is een rijk weesje dat door haar oom en tante wordt klaargestoomd voor een degelijk maar uiterst saai huwelijk. Op een winterse dag ontmoet zij in Central Park de arme Zwitserse emigrant Rudi Miller, die haar niet alleen leert schaatsen, maar ook haar hart doet verliezen. Tegen de achtergrond van het negentiende-eeuwse New York ontwikkeld zich ondanks tegenwerking een grote liefde.
