The Horse Soldiers (1959)
Tijdens de Amerikaanse Burgeroorlog wordt een cavalerie-divisie van de Noordelijken erop uitgestuurd om een spoorlijn en een voorraadcentrum van de Zuidelijken te vernietigen. Met de groep wordt een dokter meegestuurd die problemen veroorzaakt tussen zichzelf en de kolonel. Onderweg krijgt een vrouw lucht van de geheime missie en wordt om stil te blijven meegenomen. Tijdens hun tocht komt naar voren dat ieder een andere reden heeft om met de missie mee te gaan.
