Z for Zachariah (2015)

Na een verwoestende nucleaire ramp is Ann (Margot Robbie) in de veronderstelling dat ze de enige overlevende is van het menselijke ras, totdat ze de zwaargewonde wetenschapper Loomis (Chiwetel Ejiofor) ontmoet. Ze besluit hem te verzorgen en de twee krijgen gevoelens voor elkaar. Hun relatie komt echter op gespannen voet te staan wanneer Caleb (Chris Pine), een andere overlevende, verschijnt. Caleb is jonger, fitter en sterker dan Loomis. Wat volgt is een strijd tussen beide mannen om het hart van de laatste vrouw op aarde, waarbij hun ware aard naar boven zal komen.
