Get Shorty (1995)
Chili Palmer herinnert mensen aan schulden bij maffia-figuren in Miami en komt via een aantal opdrachten in Hollywood omdat een regisseur zich niet aan zijn afspraken houdt. Hij raakt echter geïnteresseerd in het vak en wil het nieuwste project van de regisseur gaan produceren. De vriendin van de regisseur is de ex-vrouw van een populaire kleine acteur Martin Weir en deze trekt ook zijn interesse. Samen met haar wil hij Martin Weir overtuigen om de hoofdrol te gaan spelen.
