Insomnia (2002)
Achtervolgd door een onderzoek van de dienst Interne Zaken over duistere zaken uit zijn verleden, wordt politiedetective Will Dormer naar een klein dorpje in Alaska gestuurd om de moord op een tienermeisje te onderzoeken. De lokale politie kijkt erg tegen hem op, maar door alle zorgen kost het Dormer moeite om naar die verwachtingen op te leven, zeker als hij door de middernachtzon ook nog eens meer en meer aan slapeloosheid gaat lijden.
