Bus Stop (1956)
De rodeokampioen Beauregard 'Bo' Decker uit Montana gaat met zijn oudere vriend Virgil Blessing met de bus naar de rodeo. Bo is op zoek naar een engel van een vrouw en hij denkt die gevonden te hebben in de saloongirl Cherie. Hij wil haar onmiddellijk tot zijn bruid maken. Maar Virgil vindt Cherie niet goed genoeg voor Bo en zij wil ook niet. In restaurant Grace's Diner waar de bus een tussenstop maakt, moet desondanks alles geregeld worden.
