Love Is Strange (2014)
Na een relatie van 39 jaar treden kunstschilder Ben en pianoleraar George eindelijk in het huwelijksbootje tijdens een idyllische ceremonie in hun geliefde stad New York. Maar bij de katholieke school waar George werkt wordt het nieuws niet goed ontvangen en is zijn ontslag het gevolg. Het pasgetrouwde stel kan niet anders dan hun appartement te verkopen en terwijl ze op zoek gaan naar een goedkopere woning, moeten ze noodgedwongen gescheiden van elkaar bij familie en vrienden intrekken. Hun relatie wordt flink op de proef gesteld en al snel blijkt dat zij niet de enigen zijn die moeite hebben met de nieuwe gezinssamenstellingen.
