Drie schoften wachten in een rouwkamer op een drugsdeal, waar Mister Simms spookachtige verhaaltjes vertelt over een paar van zijn klanten. In het eerste verhaaltje wordt een zwarte leider door drie blanke smerissen gedood, maar het slachtoffer staat van zijn graf op en zorgt voor terreur. Het tweede verhaal gaat over een door zijn pleegvader mishandelde jongen die beweert dat een 'monster' verantwoordelijk is voor zijn verwondingen. Via magie redt hij zichzelf en zijn moeder. Het derde verhaal gaat over een ex-Ku Klux Klansman die gouverneur wil worden. Maar hij moet wel rekening houden met een legendarische voodoo-koningin en haar moordlustige poppen. In het vierde verhaal geraakt een gewelddadig zwart bendelid opgesloten en wordt onderworpen aan een schok-therapie.
