The Man Who Dared (1946)
Een strijdvaardige journalist beraamt zijn eigen arrestatie en veroordeling voor moord met voorbedachten rade, in een poging aan te tonen dat de doodstraf, wanneer deze uitsluitend op indirect bewijs is gebaseerd, afgeschaft zou moeten worden. Zijn plan loopt echter mis.
