Desierto (2015)
Moises (Gael García Bernal) reist samen met een groep immigranten door een onbewaakt hels deel van de Sonora woestijn om zo de Verenigde Staten te bereiken. Plotseling worden ze opgemerkt door Sam (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), een gestoorde burgerwacht die het recht in eigen hand neemt en de immigranten één voor één neerschiet. Daarop volgt is een sinister kat-en-muisspel waarin Moises een manier moet vinden om de jager te slim af te zijn om zelf niet het volgende slachtoffer te worden.
